A Message from Keith, our Rector

Welcome to our web site. Halberton is an extensive rural parish to the East of Tiverton with a fine "Devon-red" medieval parish church. Halberton is part of the Sampford Peverell Team Ministry, of which I am acting Team Rector.

Our churchmanship is broadly central. The Eucharist is celebrated every Sunday except the second Sunday of the month when we have Morning Prayer and the third of the month when we have a joint Family Service with the Methodists. We have enjoyed a long-standing good relationship with the Methodists coming together for such occasions as the Covenant service, Ascension Day, Harvest Festival and  Christmas Carols.
