   Ash Thomas Village Hall
If you are finding your way to our hall by SatNav
our post code is: EX16 4NT

Built in 1956 Ash Thomas Village Hall is part of the community, with committee run functions monthly, including Quizzes, Dances, a Summer Fete, Christmas Whist Drive and Easter Bingo, as well as being hired  out regularly by the Rabbit Club and Poultry Fanciers, and by local  people for parties, wedding and meetings.

The hall has over the last few years had substantial work carried out on it, including being painted inside and out, has new double glazed windows and doors installed throughout, the hall floor being sanded and resealed, the new tarmac car park and the installation on disabled toilets.  This was funded partly by the Viridor Waste Management, The Lottery Fund, Mid Devon and Halberton Parish Council, and from Village Hall Funds.

The hall has complete disabled access.

There is ample off road parking, including 2 designated disabled spaces.

The hall has a well equipped kitchen with 2 electric cookers, 2 fridges, water boiler, kettles, teapot, tea towels, table clothes, an emersion heater for ample hot water and crockery and cutlery enough for 200 people.

The skittle alley is used regularly throughout the year, with the local ladies team playing its home matches here during the winter.

The hall is 75’ x 25’ with a 16’ x 8’ stage and badminton court marked out on the wooden floor.
The hall and skittle alley are heated by LPG gas heaters, 4 in the main hall and 2 in the alley.
The hall has 150 plastic chairs, 14 x 6’ folding tables, 10 x 4’ folding tables, 6 x 10’ trestle tables, 2 x 15’ trestle tables, 4 x round tables and 6 x card tables.
All of which are included in the hire charge.

Everything in the hall can be hired for outside parties etc.

The hall is a licensed premises, but there is no resident bar.
